FTLU Vortex Flowmeter

 

Vortex Flowmeter is a kind of stress type vortex flowmeter based on the karman vortex principle to measure flow and has the advantage of high signal-to-noise ratio, high sensitivity, good zero stability. Signal processing circuit adopts microcomputer technology and packages the CPU unit, storage unit, display unit, communication unit and other function modules in the circuit board, at the same time, there are RS - 485 interface, Hart protocol, ModBus protocol for chosen. Diameter ranges of DN15~DN300, widely applied in measuring volume flow and mass flow of superheated steam, saturated steam, compressed air;

Unique Features:

  • Sensor adopts adaptive signal processing circuit which got the national practical new type patent certificate.
  • By lots of wave analysis of vortex flow sensor in a long time, FTD has designed the most scientific probe shape, wall thickness, height, probe rod diameter and matching piezocrystal, adopts advanced CNC to machine to ensure technical parameters of proper alignment and smooth finish etc., and with special treating process to maximatily overcome existed signal influence by intrinsic self-oscillation frequency.
  • Advanced processing equipment and technology makes meter and its components with strong generality, so will not affect accuracy and repeatability if change any parts and no need calibration.

General Features:

  • Best of Vortex Flow Sensor is piezocrystal built in bluff body to avoid fluid turbulence caused by external type, no zero drift, and high repeatability.
  • Simple & fixed structure, no moving parts, high reliability, convenient maintenance. Wide measuring range, turndown ratio can reach 10:1 in Reynolds Number 2×104 ~ 7×106.
  • Detecting element does not contact with the measured fluids directly, stable performance and long service life. High accuracy, ±1.0% for measuring liquid, and 1.5% for gas.
  • Output pulse signal and current signal directly proportional to flowrate, and have RS-485, Hart, ModBus communication for convenient computer networking.
  • Low pressure loss, just 1/4 ~ 1/2 of orifice plate.

Application:Wide application, can measure flowrate of steam, gas, liquid etc.
